Traditional loft surveys are done from inside the loft space, which means your surveyor can only see what's directly in front of them. A drone thermal inspection gives us a complete aerial view of your roof, revealing heat loss, insulation gaps, cold spots, and moisture ingress that would be invisible from the inside.

How Does It Work?

Our qualified drone pilot flies a thermal imaging drone over your property, capturing high-resolution infrared footage of your entire roof surface. The thermal camera detects temperature variations across the roof — warmer areas indicate heat escaping through gaps in insulation, failed materials, or structural weak points.

We then analyse the thermal data and combine it with a physical loft inspection to give you a complete picture of your home's insulation performance. You'll receive a clear, easy-to-understand report showing exactly where heat is being lost and what the recommended fix looks like.

Why Does This Matter?

Up to 25% of a home's heat is lost through the roof. But without thermal imaging, it's impossible to see exactly where that heat is going. A standard visual inspection might miss gaps behind rafters, failed insulation in hard-to-reach areas, or cold bridges at wall-to-roof junctions.
